Common Questions
Capability
What materials can you supply for offshore runs?
We specialise in carbon steel, stainless steel (304/316), and aluminium. For CNC, we also handle brass and engineering plastics. For specific material grades or certifications, we confirm availability before quoting.
Technical
What file formats do you need to start a project?
We require PDF drawings (with key dimensions, tolerances, and notes) plus STEP files for CNC and manufacturing assessment. 3D models allow us to build accurate QC baseline measurements.
Quality Control
What happens if a part is out of spec?
Because we provide a QC evidence pack before shipment, issues are typically caught at the source. If defects are found on arrival, we provide local accountability—either replacement, rework, or credit based on the agreed spec baseline.
Workflows
Can you handle prototyping before volume runs?
Yes. We recommend a prototype first for all new parts. This confirms the manufacturing pathway and allows you to approve a physical baseline. Once approved, we lock that sample as the standard for production.
Logistics
What are the standard lead times?
Lead times vary by complexity and volume. Standard air freight prototypes are typically 14–21 days. Production seafreight runs are generally 8–12 weeks. We confirm timelines as part of your pathway recommendation.
